Centennial Park and Centennial Park Conservatory Toronto
The long grey and white Canadian winter can wash out the memories of color from your mind at times. If the cold frosty bleakness of this season is getting you down and you long for green and the vibrant colors of nature then don’t hesitate Centennial Park and Centennial Park Conservatory can be the right place to lift your spirits. The conservatory is the perfect place to see tropical plants in their glory. It has a great collection of xerophytes like cacti and succulents. It host regular flower shows to display nature in glory. The conservatory is certainly a nice place to visit in any season.
Centennial Park is not one of those parks that is wild but rather has more of a feel reminiscent of the English landscape garden There are pleasant open spaces for you to stroll around and nice paths for cyclists. Over time it has a lot of potential to become a good example of a landscape garden if the park administrators decide to add more features.
