Hi my name is Mubin and I immigrated to Canada in 2017 and was astonished by all the hidden gems of nature tucked away in all the urban sprawl of Toronto. Beautiful parks hidden in the city with wildlife like deer, the omni present raccoons, coyote, turtles, groundhogs, ferrets, rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels just to name a few. A variety of birds, from the ever present ducks and geese to cardinals and herons all visit these parks. Trees and plants growing in the ravines of this city giving the residents a green respite from daily grind. How the changing seasons change the way everything looks.
Toronto a vibrant city full of urban wonders too. Like the CN tower, Royal Ontario Museum, City Hall, Markets like Kensington Market, Eaton Center and others. It piqued my curiosity and as I looked around I realised that there is so much more to explore in my new home and I felt like sharing my wonderment with all of you.
Canada is truly a cosmopolitan country with people from all over the world adding to a tapestry of vibrant culture and varied experiences. The friendly courteous people of this country make you feel right at home!!!
